Product Description
BHFS Series - Braided Hose Fittings
Female JIC Swivel Connector for Braided Hose
Female swivel connectors are designed to integrate with 37° JIC systems in place of rigid tubing. The swivel allows for the user to install the fitting without twisting the line or eroding the JIC sealing surfaces. All Mako braided hose connections are made from durable 316L stainless steel for longevity and reliability. These are also equipped with an extra heavy machined crimp ferrule on the hose side.
Sizing
These fittings are currently available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
Female NPT Connector for Braided Hose
Mako's braided hose connectors are specially designed for longevity and durability. They feature an extra heavy machined ferrule and extended hose barb which grants additional grip to the connection. They are also designed to be used with full bore hose meaning flow won't be restricted like some alternative brands.
Sizing
These fittings are currently available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2".
MaleNPT Connector for Braided Hose
These male NPT connectors feature a cone shaped inset on the face of the male threaded end. This helps fluid or gasses make a smooth transition to and from the flexible braided line. All Mako braided hose connections are made from durable 316L stainless steel for longevity and reliability. These are also equipped with an extra heavy machined crimp ferrule on the hose side.
Sizing
These fittings are currently available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
Tube Stub Connector for Braided Hose
Tube stub connections are designed to allow a hose to be connected to an instrumentation style compression fitting. They are a machined tube end with an etched groove in the end for compression ferrule engagement. These fittings can have a compression nut a ferrule pre-swaged onto the tube stub upon request. All Mako braided hose connections are made from durable 316L stainless steel for longevity and reliability. These are also equipped with an extra heavy machined crimp ferrule on the hose side.
Sizing
These fittings are currently available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
Installing Reducing Adapter Fittings
Size adapting fittings are now available in certain size combinations. This means that if a larger fitting is ordered on a smaller hose, like 1/2" connections on a 3/8" hose, it could restrict the flow compared to a hose with 1/2" on a 1/2" hose. These fittings are intended to be used for assembling adapter hoses. Installing two over sized fittings on a smaller hose size should only be considered if a higher pressure rating or tighter bend radius is required.
